This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS (482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of order dated 22.04.2026 (Annexure P-7) passed by the Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar in case FIR No.48 dated 06.04.2016, U/s 379-B of IPC (now Section 303 of BNS) and later on added section 411 and 34 of IPC (now Section 317(2) and 3(5) of BNS) registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar (Police Commissionerate Amritsar), Punjab, vide which bail order of the petitioner has been cancelled and bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner have been forfeited to the state and non bailable warrants have been issued against him and with a further prayer to stay the order dated 22.04.2026 (Annexure P-7) along with order dated 13.05.2026 (Annexure P-9) vide which the Proclamation proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suffering from fever and Diarrhoea and failed to contact his counsel. As such, his bail order has been cancelled and his bail bonds and surety bonds have been forfeited to the state and non bailable warrants have been issued against him (Annexure P-7) and Proclamation proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner (Annexure P-9). Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings before the Court and prays that the impugned order be set aside.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Parneet Singh Pandher, A.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

I have heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case file. 6.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, this Court does not find any legitimate ground to interfere in the impugned orders dated 22.04.2026 and 13.05.2026 passed by the learned Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar. However, in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within next 07 working days from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the same shall be considered and decided by the Court concerned within a perid of three days.
