This is a Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents no.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of the private respondents. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that although in the representation dated 15.06.2026 which has been given by the petitioner to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, two prayers have been made. One prayer is with respect to protection of life and liberty and other is with respect to taking action but the petitioner only presses his prayer with respect to protection of life and liberty. CRWP-7394-2026 petitioner would be satisfied at this stage in case respondent no.2 looks into the representation dated 15.06.2026 on the aspect of protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and takes appropriate action in accordance with law. 3.
Learned State counsel has submitted that respondent no.2 would look into representation dated 15.06.2026 on the aspect of protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and if necessary will take appropriate action in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to look into the representation dated 15.06.2026 (Annexure P-3) with a limited prayer for only protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and if required, respondent no.2 shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
