(Oral) Petitioners have sought a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant one premature increment to the petitioners as they did not participate in the strike observed by the Punjab Government Employees on 08.02.1978 as their services have been regularized. Learned counsel for the petitioners places reliance upon a judgment passed in the case titled as 'Bishan Dass and others versus State of Punjab and others, CWP-19043-2017 decided on January 31, 2019'.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that the case of the petitioners shall be considered in light of aforesaid judgment and a speaking order shall be passed within three months.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed of.
