This is a criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 10.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners apprehending threat to their life from the private respondents moved a representation dated 16.06.2026 to respondents No.2 and 3 and would be satisfied in case respondent No.2 looks into the representation dated 16.06.2026 and takes action in accordance with law. 3.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that respondent No.2 would look into the representation dated 16.06.2026 and would take appropriate action in accordance with law.
