Prayer in this petition is for a direction to the respondents to verify the genuineness of petitioners' candidature in terms of order dated 27.07.2018 in CWP-11761-2017, to include the name of the petitioners in the list of candidates called for verification on 12.12.2018 and to issue unconditional appointment and posting order to the petitioners with continuity of service and consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the State while referring to the short reply filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 and 2 points out that this writ petition is rendered infructuous as the petitioners have been offered appointment vide order dated 08.03.2019 (Annexure R1).

In this view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. In case, petitioners have any subsisting grievance, liberty is afforded to represent before the competent authority within two weeks of receipt of certified copy of this order.
