At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for direction to respondent No.2 to take a decision on the representation dated 01.11.2021 (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioners. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the representation (Annexure P-5) and to take necessary action, if required, in accordance with law. It is, however, clarified that in case there is any criminal case registered against the petitioners, this order shall not be construed as an impediment for the law enforcing agency to proceed against the petitioners in accordance with law.
