***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.54 dated 5.6.2021 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Ghuman, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation with the police in the light of order dated 3.11.2021 passed by this Court and she cooperated with the police. GAURAV SOROT 2022.01.20 17:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-46351-2021 The counsel for the petitioner inter alia contended that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and she is neither owner nor signatory to agreement to sell dated 13.11.2018 and cheque in question worth `6 lakhs dated 5.10.2020.

The State counsel on the instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh made statement admitting the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation in compliance of the previous order dated 3.11.2021 passed by this Court. The State counsel further stated that the petitioner is not required by the police for custodial interrogation.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is not connected in any manner with the agreement to sell dated 13.11.2018, cheque dated 5.10.2020 and the land in question; and the fact that she is not required by the police for any custodial interrogation, interim order dated 3.11.2021 is made absolute subject to conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petitioner should join further investigation with the police as and when called to do so.
