The first petitioner-Company keeps on organising 'Medical Camps' as a part of social charity/welfare activity. Some restrictions were imposed on it by the district Administration though permission to hold 3day 'Medical Camp' from January 11, 2017 was granted to it vide Memo dated 11.01.2017. This Court vide an interim order dated 13.01.2017 directed that the activities of the medical camp will go on unfettered except that the petitioners would ensure that no political activity is encouraged. [2] In this view of the matter, the writ petition appears to have been rendered infructuous. However, we find that the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Barnala, has made totally unsubstantial, uncalled for and Meenu 2017.08.22 13:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh unwarranted observations in para 10 of the written statement. The mere

CWP-528-2017 -2closeness or association of one of the Directors of the petitioner No.1Company with a political party or a politician per se does not mean that the medical camp was being organised to promote the cause of the political party. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of with a clarificatory direction that so long the petitioner -Company wants to organise those medical camps, without patronizing any political party or political ideology, such camps shall be allowed to be held uninterrupted.
