Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent No.4 - Nagar Panchayat, Cheema to deposit the Provident Fund contributions and PF loan amount, which the Nagar Panchayat has already deducted from the salary of petitioners every month, in the pension contribution accounts of the petitioners along with interest on the provident contribution. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding representations dated 22.04.2024 and 30.05.2024 (Annexure P-3). He submits that at this stage, petitioners would be satisfied, if the said representations are decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to decide representations dated 22.04.2024 and 30.05.2024 (Annexure P-3), submitted by the petitioners expeditiously, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
