**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the official respondents to file status report in FIR No.68 dated 14.05.2019, registered under Sections 420 and 406 IPC, at Police Station Urban Estate, District Patiala.

Status report by way of an affidavit dated 28.03.2022 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-II, Patiala, filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, in the Registry, is taken on record. Copy whereof has been supplied to the learned counsel opposite. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that in the present case, the challan was presented before the Court concerned on 28.05.2021 and the charges were framed and that now the case is fixed for prosecution evidence.
