The petitioner has approached this Court through instant petition seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members, who are under continuous threat at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly contends that private respondents have trespassed into the land owned by the petitioner and respondent No. 6 intentionally set the standing wheat crop on fire causing substantial financial loss to the petitioner. He further submits that the entire occurrence was captured through photographs and video recording clearly depicting the involvement of the accused. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on Annexure P-1. CRWP-7385-2026 (Annexure P-3) was submitted by the petitioner before police authorities but till date no action has been taken. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if representation 04.06.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner is decided by respondent No. 3 by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

Mr. Vikas Sonak, AAG, Punjab puts in appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection, in case a direction is issued to the respondent No.3 for time-bound consideration and decision of the representation dated 04.06.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner by passing a speaking order.

Therefore, in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, respondent No.3 is directed to consider the representation dated 04.06.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner and pass a speaking order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of 03 months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. Further, the decision taken thereof shall be conveyed to the petitioner. Needless to say, if the petitioner is found entitled to the relief sought, the same shall be granted forthwith by respondent No. 3.
