  Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to re7designate the petitioner from the post of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor (Pathology) w.e.f. 21.02.2019 along with all consequential benefits. At the outset, instead of pressing the petition on merits, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case legal notice dated 23.10.2020 (P711) is decided by the competent authority, expeditiously.

Mr. Kiran Pal Singh, AAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and he is not averse for the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner.

 In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose off the present petition with a direction to respondent No.17 Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Medical Education & Research, Haryana, to consider and decide legal notice dated 23.10.2020, if the same is pending, by passing speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks' from today. Ordered accordingly.
