This is a civil writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2 to re-issue the passport to the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents No.1 and 2 has submitted that the passport of the petitioner has already been dispatched to the petitioner and thus, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the present petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous but respondents be bound by the statement made before this Court. 4.

In view of the same, the present petition is disposed of. Respondents No.1 and 2 would be bound by the statement made before this Court.
