In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to take action against accused in FIR No. 13 dated 01.02.2026 registered under Sections 333, 115 (2), 351 (2), 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "BNSS, 2023"), Police Station Amir Khas, District Fazilka. 2.

Though none has appeared on behalf of the petitioners, the perusal of the pleadings reveals that with regard to the grievance raised in the present petition, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 10.06.2026 (Annexure P-1) before the competent authorities. It is averred that the said representation is still pending consideration. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vikas Arora, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that, if the representation dated 10.06.2026 (Annexure P-1) has been received by the competent authority and is still pending consideration, the same will be decided by the competent RIYA 2026.06.26 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
