**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Petitioners are seeking direction to the respondents to pay them equal pay for equal work as being paid to the regular employees holding the same post w.e.f 1.11.2017, in view of policy/instructions dated 03.11.2017 (Annexure P-3) and in view of judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court of India in a case of State of Punjab v. Jagjit Singh, 2016(4) SCT 641. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Palika Monga, DAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner shall supply copy of the petition to learned State counsel by today itself. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is being disposed of by giving a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 10.04.2018 (Annexure P6) of the petitioners, in view of Jagjit Singh's case (supra). This exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
