(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.51 dated 28.04.2019 under Section 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Ramdas, District Amritsar. This Court vide order dated 30.08.2019 had directed the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. However, as per report dated 18.11.2019 of the mediator, the parties have not joined the mediation proceedings and in their absence, mediation could not take place.
