*** DEEPAK GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Status report by way of an affidavit of Satinder Singh, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State, as per which after registration of the FIR in July, 2021, as many as seven persons remained the SHOs of the concerned Police Station. Though on finding the negligence and carelessness on their part in not arresting the petitioner despite serious allegations in the FIR against him, show cause notices have been ordered to be issued to them. Apart from the above, statement is made by the State counsel on instructions from SI Rashpal Singh that the petitioner has since been arrested on 28.8.2023. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel and considering the fact that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, this petition seeking anticipatory bail has become infructuous.
