Grievance of the petitioners is that trials of the Roller Skating tournament selecting players for the National Championship scheduled to be held at Belgaum, Karnataka are being conducted again by the State without any cogent reason. Such exercise may affect the rights of the petitioners who have already been selected.

At the outset learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Paramjeet Walia, Senior Assistant, DPI (SF), who is present in court, submits that no prejudice shall be caused to the petitioners by holding the trials. They shall be allowed to participate in the National Championship on the basis of trials conducted earlier from 28th October, 2018 to 30th October, 2018.

In view of statement made by State counsel, grievance of the petitioners has been redressed. No cause of action, thus, survives in this petition. Same is hereby disposed of.
