(Oral) Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the parties to the instant lis have settled their dispute and are living together. To buttress his arguments, learned counsel for the respondent has relied upon an order dated 27.08.2021 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, relevant whereof reads as under :- "Applicant Renuka Rani came present and got her statement recorded to the effect that the matter has been settled between her and respondents. She will be joining the company of respondent No. 1 in the matrimonial house. Respondent No. 1 has assured her that he will give full respect, love and affection to her and her daughter. As such, she does not want to proceed with the case and withdraw the same on her behalf and on behalf of her minor daughter. She further stated that the present case may be dismissed as withdrawn. File be consigned to the record room."
