(Oral) Present appeal is directed against the award dated 21.11.2012 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal at Sangrur, wherein the appellant claimed Rs.5 lacs on account of injuries suffered by him. The accident occurred on May 30, 2006 between scooter being driven by the claimant and a Maruti car. In the ensuing accident, claimant suffered certain injuries. He later lodged a claim with the Tribunal. Said court, on examination of evidence, came to the conclusion that the accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving by the owner of the vehicle being driven by Jagmeet Singh-respondent No.1. It proceeded to assess the compensation and found that the claimant Davinder Singh had spent almost Rs.
1 lac on his treatment. It, thus, granted the said amount to him and another sum of Rs.25,000/- was granted to him on account of pain and suffering. Responsibility of the respondents was held joint and several. Amount was to Sukhpreet Kaur 2017.03.

be paid to the claimant within two months of the passing of award passed, failing which he was entitled to recover interest on the abovesaid amount at the rate of 7.5% from the date of filing of the claim petition till its realization.
It appears that no certificate showing permanent disability was produced before the court or any other cogent evidence was led to prove that claimant suffered any such injury which would disable him to some extent. Under these circumstances, I find no ground to interfere in the appellate jurisdiction of this court. Appeal is without any merit and is hereby dismissed.
