Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to release the retiral benefits of the petitioner alongwith interest. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has retired as Joint Director, Panchayat on 30.09.2024 and while referring to the averments made in para 3 of the petition states that there is no enquiry is pending against him and a vigilance clearance certificate dated 24.09.2024 has been issued. Regarding the claim raised in the present petition, a representation dated 30.05.2025, Annexure P-5 has been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. She, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 30.05.2025, Annexure P-5, within a period of 2 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
