(Through Video Conferencing) ***** Ms. Ekta Thakur, Advocate, for the appellants as well as Mr. Rajbir Singh, Advocate, for the insurance company, have jointly stated that there has been a settlement of the dispute regarding the claim of the claimants and it has been settled that `5,25,000/- (Rs. Five Lakh Fifty Five Thousand only) will be paid to the claimants, which is over and above the awarded amount, within a period of 4 weeks from today. Both the counsels have stated that since the matter has been settled, the same can be disposed of accordingly.
Learned counsel for the appellants has also submitted that since the appellant Rachna has died and she being succeeded by Raju Verma, Pooja Verma and Aarti Verma in the amended memo of parties already on record. She has prayed that the cheque be issued in the name of Raju Verma only as the other claimants are daughters, who have given their consent that the JYOTI 2021.07.15 01:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
FAO-3206-2015 (O&M) cheque be issued in the name of Raju Verma.
Mr. Rajbir Singh, Advocate, has stated that he has no objection in case the cheque is issued in the name of Raju Verma. In view of the settlement made by the parties, the present appeal is disposed of in terms of the settlement. The cheque be issued in the name of Raju Verma.
The statements of Ms. Ekta Thakur, Advocate and Mr. Rajbir Singh, Advocate, which have been received by this Court, shall become part of the present order.
