(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking indulgence of this Court for directing the respondents to promote the petitioner w.e.f. 04.04.2008, the date on which promotions to the post of Sub-Assistant Superintendent, Jail, were made, along with all consequential benefits and in this regard, had submitted representation dated 07.07.2019 (Annexure P-7), but there is no adherence thereto.

Without going into the merits and de-merits of the case, I dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider representation dated 07.07.2019 (Annexure P-7) and take appropriate decision thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that if decision is not taken within the time frame, there shall be costs of `25,000/- to be paid to the petitioner by the
