**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI J. (ORAL) In the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the impugned order dated 28.06.2024 (Annexure P-1) vide which she has been transferred to a farfetched place when she is at the verge of retirement.

Learned counsel for the petitoner submits that though the petitioner has been allowed to work in Amritsar but her salary is being drawn from a post in Ajnala, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner. SATYAWAN 2024.08.12 17:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-19108-2024 (O&M) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the said fact, the petitioner has not been paid for the last month. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondents submit that he has instructions from Mr. Anshil Kumar, Sr. Assistant, O/o Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar that the salary of the petitioner for the last month will be released within a period of next seven days and henceforth, the salary will also be released along with the other employees who are working in Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to file appropriate representation, in case any of the grievance arose henceforth despite the undertaking given.
