MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect her life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, to look into the representation dated 29.07.2024 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Navdeep Singh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.

In view of the restricted prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, to look into the representation dated 29.07.2024 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if required, in accordance with law.
