(Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to allot land to him under the provisions of 'The Punjab Package Deals Properties (Disposal) Act, 1976' in lieu of land left by Kashmir Singh s/o Kala Singh, his predecessor-in-interest in Pakistan at the time of partition of the country in 1947. Kashmir Singh was unmarried/issueless who died on 29.12.1983 and executed will dated 10.06.1983 in favour of the petitioner out of love and affection.

In this regard, petitioner has given legal notice dated 15.09.2020 (P-3) but no action has been taken till date. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Anju Sharma Kaushik, D.A.G, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.
