Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in the present case, the petitioner had already deposited half of the amount due i.e. Rs.58,92,213/- and has prayed that the electricity connection be restored.

Learned senior counsel appearing for respondents No.1 and 2 has submitted that as per his instructions, the entire amount of Rs.1,17,84,426/- is to be deposited by the petitioner and it is only thereafter that the electricity can be restored. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, has submitted that the petitioner would deposit the entire amount subject to its NARESH KUMAR 2026.06.25 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document/judgement

Learned senior counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 has submitted that the moment the entire amount is deposited, the electricity connection would be restored to the petitioner within a period of 48 hours.

Keeping in view the above-said facts and circumstances and the fair stand taken on behalf of the petitioner as well as contesting respondents No.1 and 2, the present writ petition is disposed of with the following directions/observations: - (i) It would be open to the petitioner to deposit the balance amount of Rs.58,92,213/- within a period of two months from today.

(ii) Within a period of 48 hours of the entire amount, as indicated herein above, having been deposited, the respondent authorities would restore the electricity connection of the premises of the petitioner.

(iii) The said amount deposited would not be construed as an estoppel against the petitioner to pursue its legal remedies.
