(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of a direction to refer the matter to Mediation and Conciliation Center so as to make full and final settlement with regard to order dated 17.4.2017 passed by the Court of learned Sub Divisional Magistrate, Anandpur Sahib, whereby while accepting an application for grant of interim maintenance, the petitioner has been directed to pay an amount of `2,500/- per month from the date of application.
Needless to mention, in matrimonial matters the Courts are expected to advise the parties to amicably settle the matter and for the said purpose the Trial Court may also refer the parties to Mediation and PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.02.09 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
( 2 ) CRM-M-4229-2021 (O&M) Conciliation Center. In these circumstances, no specific direction is required to be issued by this Court.
However, the petitioner may request the Trial Court concerned to send the matter to Mediation and Conciliation Center in case he is genuinely interested for resolving the matter amicably. In case any such request is made the Court concerned shall endeavour to get some kind of mediation effected amongst the parties. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
