The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to protect the approved master/layout/zoning plan of Sector-86, Preet City, Mohali and to restrain respondents No.2 and 5 and their Associates/Assignees from raising illegal construction over the land immediately adjoining plot No.813, Sector-86, Preet City, Mohali. which is reserved for a public park and slip road. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a complaint dated 18.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) to the Chief CHETAN THAKUR 2026.07.02 18:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CWP-19419-2026 -2Administrator, GMADA, Punjab but the same has not been considered and decided till date. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the aforesaid complaint dated 18.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) is considered and decided by the Chief Administrator, GMADA, Punjab in accordance with law and in a time bound manner. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Avin Sandhu, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-GMADA. She submitted that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, she has no objection in case a time bound direction is issued in this regard. 5.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, without calling for the reply from the respondents and without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Chief Administrator, GMADA, Punjab to consider and decide the complaint dated 18.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) strictly in accordance with law and within a period of one month from today.
