The present civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the action of the respondent-authorities whereby the claim of the petitioners for transfer has been rejected by the concerned DDO. Further, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to allow them to participate in the transfer drive being eligible for transfer from one place to another in pursuance to Teachers Transfer Policy, 2019 (Annexure P1). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition has become infructuous as the petitioners have been allowed to participate in the transfer drive vide order dated 22.06.2026 (copy of which has been placed on record as Mark 'X').

In view of the above the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
