(Oral) Learned counsel contends that petitioner would be satisfied in case, his case is considered in light of judgment dated 29.01.2018 in CWP5220-2012 titled as 'Darshan Singh versus State of Punjab and others, within a fixed time-frame.
At the outset, learned State counsel submits that the judgment rendered in the case of Darshan Singh's (supra) shall be considered by the competent authority within two months from today after hearing the petitioner and private respondents and a speaking order shall be passed. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed of.
