*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents-authorities to renew the passport of the petitioner.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent(s)-Union of India submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the passport of the petitioner stands renewed. 3.
