Without adverting to the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition. 2.

A perusal of the petition demonstrates that petitioner No. 1 is a Muslim married woman and has not been divorced but admits herself to be in a live-in relationship with petitioner No. 2 who is also a married man. Petitioner No. 1 has a girl child from her marriage with one Jaikam. Even petitioner No. 2 has 5 children from his marriage with one Asmina. There is no threat perception which could be demonstrated in the petition except from the bald and vague allegations.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. PARUL 2023.09.27 12:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Though, it is a fit case to impose exemplary cost on the petitioners, however, taking a lenient view, the cost is not being imposed. 5.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioners, in case, they are found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
