The petitioner through the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to issue her passport.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Dharam Singh, confirms that police has not presented its report in FIR No. 101 dated 21.05.2021, under Sections 365, 323, 506 and 34 of IPC registered against the petitioner at Police Station, Canal Colony, Bathinda. 3.

Learned counsel for Union of India submits that respondents have closed file of the petitioner and if she files fresh application, it would be disposed of, in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of filing.
