SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.90, dated 23.08.2022 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 of the IPC and Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Urban Estate, District Patiala.

This Court vide order dated 15.09.2022, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 15.09.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel does not controvert the said fact. However, he submits on instructions from ASI Lakhwinder Singh, that further custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. In view of the above, the order dated 15.09.2022 is made absolute. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
