The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing official respondents to protect the life and liberty of petitioner at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternate remedy as available to the petitioner in accordance with law for redressal of grievance raised in this petition.

Present petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdraw with liberty as aforementioned.
