Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for inter9alia directing respondent No.1 to hear and decide his statutory appeal preferred under Order 26 of the Standing Order.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case statutory appeal dated 09.11.2020 (P919) is decided by the competent authority, expeditiously. Notice of motion.
Mr. Karan Singla, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He is not averse for the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner; rather stated that appeal of the petitioner would be considered and decided expeditiously preferably within a period of 8 weeks, positively.

In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose off the present petition with a direction to respondent No.19 Appellate Authority/ Board of Directors, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, Chandigarh, to consider and decide the appeal dated 09.11.2020, by passing speaking order in accordance with law, on or before 11.02.2021.
