(Oral) Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the issue at hand, i.e., grant of benefit of one annual increment to the petitioners that was due on the day next to their retirement, stands decided in their favour vide judgments rendered by the Supreme Court in The Director (Admn. And HR) KPTCL and others v. C.P. Mundinamani and others, 2023 SCC Online SC 401, and this Court in CWP No.8364 of 2024, Suresh Kumar Singla and others v. State of Haryana and others, decided on 16.04.2024.

The petition is accordingly, allowed, directing the respondents to release the benefit of one annual increment from the due date with all consequential benefits, within eight weeks of receiving a certified copy of the order.
