Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for direction to respondent no. 3-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the threat to life and liberty of the petitioner and other trustees of TDC Foundation Charitable Trust.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the grievance of petitioner with regard to threat to life and liberty of petitioner and other trustees of TDC Foundation Charitable Trust, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that nothing observed in this order shall be treated as giving direction to the police to interfere in the property dispute of the Trust with any person for which petitioner will be at liberty to avail other legal remedy available to him under the law.
