**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has prayed that petitioner be granted compensation in lieu of death of her husband in a road accident. Stand of the State is that case of petitioner is covered under the Aam Admi Bima Yojna and State has already paid Rs.25,000/- in view thereof. Rest of the liability has to be met by the Life Insurance Corporation.

In view of the above, writ petition is disposed of with an observation that Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar, may pursue the matter with Life Insurance Corporation for consideration of the case of the petitioner and to take a decision at the earliest, in any case, not later than 02 months.

Needless to observe that as the stand of the State Government is that petitioner is covered under the new Scheme, decision taken vide order, Annexure P-5, shall not stand in its way while considering the matter. The judgment relied upon by the petitioner in the case titled as 'Jagdish versus State of Haryana and others (CWP-7585-2015 decided on 11.08.2016), may also be taken into consideration.
