As per the previous status report, respondents No. 7 and 8 were declared innocent and regarding them, it is conceded that application under Section 319 Cr.P.C. is pending. As per the status report dated 20.03.2023, the case is fixed for prosecution evidence and the next date fixed is 13.04.2023. In view of the status report, the present petition seeking direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to proceed with the supplementary challan as per the investigation conducted in FIR No. 82 dated 25.12.2018, under Sections 406/498-A of IPC, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Amritsar, District Amritsar has become infructuous.

In view of this, the petition stands dismissed having become infructuous.
