The present application has been filed for placing on record reply by way of affidavit of Mohan Singh, Assistant Town Planner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana/respondent No.2 as Annexure R-1. 2.
For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and the reply is taken on record as Annexure R-1. 1.
The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 20.03.2023 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-5614-2023.

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had issued the following directions, vide its order dated 20.03.2023, in CWP-5614-2023:- "Keeping in view the above said facts and circumstances, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to look into and decide the representation dated 05.04.2022 in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the present order. In case, respondent no.2 is of the opinion that any action is required to be taken on the same, then the same be done as expeditiously as possible after granting an opportunity of hearing to the persons against whom the action is proposed to be taken. In case, respondent no.2 is of the opinion that the representation made by the petitioner does not have any merit, then, a speaking order rejecting the representation dated 05.04.2022 be passed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the present order." 3.
In compliance of the order dated 20.03.2023, reply by way of affidavit of Mohan Singh, Assistant Town Planner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana/respondent No.2 has been filed, which is taken on record. The relevant portion of the said reply is reproduced as under:- "2.
That in the compliance with the orders dated 20th March 2023, Annexure P-1 passed by this Hon'ble High Court, after grant of opportunity of hearing to Sh Inderjeet Singh, President, Caliber Plaza Market Shop Keepers Association, Bhadaur House, Ludhiana, against whom the petitioner has levelled allegations of raising construction within the Caliber Plaza Market compound in violation of the law and rules and after perusing the office reports and the old and the revised building plans and connected record, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana has decided the representation dated 05.04.2022 of the petitioner by passing a detailed & speaking order bearing no. 128/ATP/A/D dated 21.09.2023, Annexure R/1. A copy of the order dated 21.09.2023 was also sent to the petitioner as well as the President, Caliber Plaza Market Shop Association for
-3information and further necessary action. Hence, the compliance of the Hon'ble High Court order dated 20.03.2023, Annexure P/1 has been made."

Learned counsel for the respondents contends that in compliance of order dated 20.03.2023 passed by learned Single Bench, representation dated 05.04.2022 submitted by the petitioner has been decided by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, vide its speaking order dated 21.09.2023. The said order dated 21.09.2023 is taken on record and a copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner, who does not dispute the same.

In view of the above, the present contempt is purged and rule is discharged. Needless to say that if the petitioner is aggrieved with the order dated 21.09.2023 passed by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, he can avail the remedy as is available to him, in accordance with law.
