In the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for directing the respondent authorities to extend the period of parole by 60 days, as the existing period of parole is due to expire today i.e. 30.06.2026. 2.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to the petitioner to file an application seeking further extension of parole before the competent authority, keeping in view the fact that the petitioner's brother, who has recently undergone surgery, requires his assistance.

Keeping in view the above, though the present petition is disposed of having been not pressed any further but liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an application before the competent authority seeking further extension of parole to enable him to assist his brother during his recovery. In case such an application is received by the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law within a RIYA 2026.06.30 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
