On 16.12.2020, the following order was passed:- "The petitioner was appointed as District Programme Coordinator with National Health Mission. Previously, these posts were non transferrable, however, due to change in the policy, the posts were made transferrable. The petitioner was transferred to Pathankot on 10.8.2018. He challenged the same by filing CWP-20344-2018 which was disposed of on 11.2.2019. The petitioner was relieved on 24.7.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner worked at Pathankot for a period of one year and was transferred to Patiala on 4.12.2020. He was relieved on 7.12.2020 permitting him to join at Patiala, however, when he joined at Patiala, the transfer order dated DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2020.12.22 13:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document 4.12.2020 has been cancelled.

Civil Writ Petition No. 21703 of 2020 Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, it is considered appropriate to direct the Mission Director, National Health Mission, Punjab to explain as to how the aforesaid orders are being passed.

List on 18.12.2020.

The Mission Director, National Health Mission, Punjab shall be required to attend the hearing of the case on the date fixed through video conferencing".

In deference to the order dated 18.12.2020, Mr Kumar Rahul, IAS, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Punjab has attended the hearing with Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Advocate through video conference. He has stated that the impugned order dated 08.12.2020 has since been withdrawn, therefore, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Keeping in view the aforesaid statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
