RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 4 to get the passage vacated from illegal encroachments by the private parties as well as forest department (respondent No.5) and Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd.(respondents No.6 and 7).

Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that earlier directions were given by this Court for removing the encroachments and petitioner had filed the contempt petition as well. She submits that despite that till date, the order has not been complied with.

Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. Heard.

CWP-18551-2023 -2Court vide order dated 30.08.2013 passed in CWP-12355-2013 (Annexure P-1). Hence, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedy as available to him under the law. It is clarified that directions given by this Court vide order, Annexure P-1, as submitted before this Court, have not been modified or set aside by any higher Court.
