This is a petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for seeking transfer of investigation of the case registered in FIR No. 231 dated 03.11.2021 registered under Sections 452, 323, 354, 427, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Tibba, District Ludhiana to some senior officer under the supervision of DGP, Punjab or Crime Branch.

Pursuant to the order dated 17.03.2023, the State has filed a status report by way of an affidavit of Gurdev Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (EAST), Ludhiana. It has been stated in para No.4 that from a perusal of the CCTV footage as produced by the petitioner it could be seen that only three persons came to the house of the petitioner on that day and thus it has been concluded that the petitioner had falsely named TRIPTI SAINI 2023.07.20 13:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

2023:PHHC:091193 CRM-M-42987-2022 -2respondent Nos.5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 in the FIR as they were having good relations with the family of respondent Nos.4 and 7. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Baljeet Singh, has stated that two of the accused i.e. respondent Nos.4 and 7 were found to be involved and both the said accused are now on bail. It is further stated that both the accused have joined investigation and the challan would be filed within a period of three weeks' from today. 4.

In view of the above, no further order is needed to be passed in the present petition which is disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
