MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to take legal action against respondents No.7 to 10 on the basis of his representation dated 17.04.2025 (Annexure P-1). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation was given on 17.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) to the police authorities, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon), to look into the representation (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3.

On asking of the Court, Mr. H.S. Deol, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.4Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon), is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if any required, under the provisions of law. However, if respondent No.4 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 17.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), then the petitioner shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Versus Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
