Petitioners Rajbir Kaur and Keshu @ Kashu @ Sukhwinder Singh have filed instant petition under Section 482 of -%41%5 ,6%5 -, -3 " 7 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.89 dated 16.05.2025, under Sections 333, 74, 115 (2), 324 (4), 324 (5), 351 (2), 191 and 190 of BNS registered at Police Station Maqboolpura, Amritsar (Annexure P-1). 2.
As per facts of case, complainant alleged that on 13.05.2025 at about 10 am, she was present in the house along with her son Karan Mahajan and her daughter-in-law, when Onkar Singh @ Moti along with his brother Gopi, paternal cousin Kali, their uncle Kashu and aunt accompanied by 4-5 unknown persons armed with sword, kirpans and baseball bats entered the
house and started beating her son Karan Mahajan and vandalized their house. Onkar Singh @ Moti hit Karan Mahajan on his head with baseball bat due to which her son fell down and became unconscious. When she came forward she was also beaten up. Her clothes were torn and her chain also fell down which she could not find. They gave beating to her daughter-in-law. They threatened to kill them and hurled abuses and thereafter they fled away from the spot. With these allegations, present FIR has been registered. 3.
Counsel for the petitioner pointed out that they are falsely implicated in this case. No specific role is attributed to them. In pursuance of order dated 09.07.2025, they joined the investigation and fully cooperated with the investigating agency. It is submitted that their anticipatory bail petition may be allowed.

Status report has been filed confirming the facts narrated in the FIR. As per the MLR of Karan Mahajan, he suffered four injuries which were declared simple in nature caused with blunt weapon. Other co-accused namely Onkar Singh @ Moti, Akashdeep Singh @ Kali were arrested. There are specific allegations. It is admitted that in pursuance of order dated 09.07.2025 both petitioners have joined the investigation and they are not required for any other purpose.

Considering the aforesaid factual position, no purpose would be served by sending them behind the bars. They have joined the investigation. They are%(48(84-%9 ( (
82%(%!-%%3 anticipatory bail filed by petitioners is allowed. They be not arrested. In case of their arrest, they be released on bail to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer concerned, subject to condition that
7 petitioners will join investigation as and when required. They will not tamper with or interfere with investigation and will not leave country without prior permission as provided under Section 482 (2) of BNSS, 2023. :! ( 19 22 6 ''2 ;
