Through the instant writ petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for issuance of a mandamus upon respondent No.2 to decide the application preferred by the petitioner to grant compensation on account of accident occurred with a stray animal. 2.
This Court, vide order dated 09.07.2025, had directed the State to inform this Court as to how much time is required to decide the petitioner's application, which is pending since 15.5.2025. 3.
Today, learned State counsel, after having instructions from the authority concerned, informs this Court that the application would be decided within four weeks from today.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, no further direction is required to be issued in the instant petition. 5.
