By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to unnecessarily harass the petitioner and her family members. [2].

In response to notice of motion, reply by way of affidavit dated 21.03.2024 under the signatures of Kulbushan Sharma (PPS) Assistant Commissioner of Police West, Jalandhar on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 has been filed in Court. The same is taken on record. [3].

As per aforesaid reply, one FIR No.53 dated 22.06.2023 under Section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered at P.S. Bhargo Camp against husband of the petitioner wherein neither the petitioner nor her other family members are involved in the said FIR and even not in any other case. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh, P.S. Bhargo Camp submits that petitioner is neither required in any FIR/case nor is she is being harassed at the instance of the respondent Nos.1 to 3. [5].

In view of aforesaid stand taken by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of.
